Berger Paints today reported a 55.35 per cent jump in its consolidated net profit at Rs 138.78 crore for the quarter ended September, aided by exceptional gains of Rs 44.20 crore.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 89.33 crore during July-September of the last fiscal.
Its income from operations during the quarter under review was up 7.77 per cent at Rs 1,271.39 crore, from Rs 1,179.65 crore in the same period of the previous fiscal, Berger Paints said in a BSE filing.

During the quarter, the company reported exceptional gains of Rs 44.20 crore on account of sale of business to Berger Nippon Coatings Pvt.
The stock of the company settled at Rs 260.35, up 0.08 per cent, on BSE.
