Engineering, procurement and construction major BGR Energy Systems has reported 64.5 per cent decline in standalone net profit for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2014 at Rs 19.09 Crore.
The Chennai-based company had reported a standalone net profit of Rs 53.85 crore for the corresponding period of previous year.
Standalone total income from operations for the three month period declined to Rs 812.23 crore, from Rs 1,063.38 crore registered during the same period of previous year.

The constructing and EPC contracts segments contributed 92 per cent, or Rs 745.55 crore, to total income.
For full FY2014, net profit declined to Rs 109.95 crore on standalone basis, from Rs 163.67 crore in FY13.
Total income rose to Rs 3,293.33 crore in FY14, from Rs 3,105.69 crore in FY13 on standalone basis.
The board of directors has recommended a dividend of Rs 3 per equity share of face value of Rs 10 each, it said.
As on March 31, 2014, the company carried over order book of Rs 11,522 crore, it said.
