Bhagwat to be chief guest at silver jubilee event of lawyers'

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat would be the chief guest at the silver jubilee celebrations of a national association of lawyers to be held here on September 10.

Set up in 1992, the Akhil Bharatiya Adhivakta Parishad is completing 25 years of its foundation this year and organising a function here to mark the occasion.

Nearly 3,500 advocates from all over the country are expected to participate in the event, a release from the Parishad said.

The parishad has been taking up various issues concerning the society and helping social organisations in their activity, it added.
