On the lines of Hindi and Urdu Academies, Uttar Pradesh government today announced to establish Bhojpuri Academy in the state.
"In a bid to promote Bhojpuri, the state government has decided by Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to constitute a separate academy for the language", an official spokesman said here.
The CM had been getting representations from various quarters for establishing Bhojpuri academy to promote the language and its literature, he added.
