Bhutan's Queen Mother visits Sarnath
Bhutan's Queen Mother Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck visited Buddhist pilgrimage site Sarnath here today and prayed for world peace.
A 16-member team, including a few family members of the Queen Mother, is on a religious visit to Sarnath.
The Queen Mother offered prayers for world peace, sitting before Dhamek Stupa.
She also visited Mulagandha Kuti Vihara in Sarnath and offered prayers there.
She will leave the city for Hyderabad with her family members on Sunday, an official said here.
