Two motorcycle-borne youths snatched a handbag from a Chinese tourist riding in an autorickshaw near the Circuit House in Agra, police said today.
The woman, Lu Hi, was retuning to her hotel in Tajganj area after paying a visit to Fatehpur Sikri along with two other tourists last evening when the youths allegedly took away the handbag containing her passport, a camera and Rs 4,000 in cash, they said.
In the bid, Lu was injured after she fell off the auto and was taken to a private hospital.
According to sources, the women took an autorickshaw after buying food near Idgah Bus Stand around 6 pm and when they were near the Circuit House two motorcycle-borne youths came alongside and snatched away the bag from Lu.
A case had been registered and a search was on for the culprits, a police officer said.
