Biker mowed down by dumper truck in Ghaziabad

A 26-year-old biker was today crushed to death by a speeding dumper truck on Delhi-Sahranpur road.

The accident took place near Pavi Sadakpur village around 1 PM when Parvez, a resident of Pasonda village, was riding his bike towards Loni, Tronica City police station SHO Sheelesh Yadav said.

The driver of the truck fled from the spot leaving behind his vehicle, the SHO said, adding a manhunt has been launched for him.

The body has been sent for post-mortem.
