BJP legislator Surinder Ambardar today joined the chain hunger strike of Kashmiri Pandit (KP) employees who are demanding their posting in Jammu in the wake of the ongoing unrest in Kashmir.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambardar, who is an MLC, said the government seems "insensitive" towards the issue of KP employees.
He said he would try to take up the matter with the higher authorities.

Meanwhile, Vinod Pandit, Chief, All Parties Migrants Coordination Committee (APMCC), that supports the "cause" of KP employees, asked employees to prepare for an "aggressive agitation as the government does not seem serious towards their plight".
He said his organisation will "soon organise" a "bigger agitation" and road shows in Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and other parts of the country".
The chain hunger strike by KP employees, under the banner of All Migrant Employees Association Kashmir, today entered the 11th day.
