BJP MPs from Uttar Pradesh would stage a dharna here on June 30 to protest against law and order situation in the state, policies of Akhilesh Yadav government and other issues.
"Party MPs from UP will stage a dharn in Lucknow on June 30 to protest against poor law and order situation, policies of Akhilesh government and other issues," BJP spokesman Vijay Bahadur Pathak said.
He alleged that there was 'jungleraj like situation' in the state due to the policies of Akhilesh government.
"There is no fear of law and this is the reason an RTI activist is beaten to death in Bahraich, a girl is immolated in Fatehpur, double and triple murders are taking place in Allahabad and Sultanpur respectively. The situation is totally out of control," he alleged.
Pathak also alleged that state ministers were demanding extortion money and were even threatening officers.
"Even the media is not safe. While a journalist was killed in Shahjahanpur another one was attacked in Kanpur," he said.
Pathak also demaded that the Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav should ensure action against his errant ministers.
