BJP President Rajnath Singh today released a mobile-based application for easy registration of first-time voters on the occasion of National Voter's Day.
The application, developed by BJP Secretary Poonam Mahajan, was launched in the presence of party General Secretary (Organisation) Ramlal.
The BJP chief said new voters will take advantage of this unique initiative and can become an active participant in changing India's destiny.

A vote, he said, is the most effective tool in the hands of the people to express themselves and make their voice heard. Modi urged the youth to be proactive and participate in strengthening the Indian democracy.
Mahajan said, "There are 12 crore first time voters. And we should give youth this opportunity to participate in the democratic process to change the future destiny of India."
Head of BJP's IT wing, Arvind Gupta explained how the use of technology which he said would make the voter registration process smooth and easy for India's youth who are very conversant with mobile technology.
Earlier, All-India Chairman of the Bar Council of India Manan Kumar Mishra joined BJP in the presence of Singh at his residence.
