Body of 16-year-old girl found hanging from tree

Body of a 16-year-old girl was today found hanging from a tree in Jafatganj area, police said.

The girl had left her house yesterday and when she did not return the family members informed the police this morning, they said.

During a search operation, police found her body hanging from a tree in the jungle in Jafatganj area of the district.

According to the police, the family members have alleged that she was raped before being murdered.
