Body of 4-year-old girl fished out from lake in Udaipur

The body of a four-year-old girl who had fallen into Fatehsagar lake after a collision between boats was fished out late last night.

The body was spotted by two youths who informed the authorities following which the body was taken out from the water, police said.

The girl, along with her parents and some other persons, was in a speed boat which collided with a motor boat during the ride on Monday.

All the occupants of the speed boat fell into the lake but the girl drowned, police said.

Rescue operation was carried out in the last two days but the divers could not locate the body.
 

The body has been shifted to a local hospital for post- mortem, the police said.
