Bomb found near FCI godown, minister's residence

The IED was found near the FCI godown area at Sangai pouro, near Imphal airport, at around 10.30 PM yesterday, official sources said.

The device, fitted with a timer, was later defused, they said.

The place from where the IED was recovered is 100 metres from the private residence of Manipur Health Minister T. Phungzathang.
