Veteran tennis player Leander Paes' Brand Leander has partnered with Khar Gymkhana to set up an academy, named Ace Tennis.
The academy will be at the Gymkhana premises.
The aim of the academy is to develop budding tennis talent at school, club, state, national, Davis Cup and ATP/ WTA Tour Levels and also recreational levels, according to a statement.
The inauguration programme will be held on April 8.
Leander Paes, Nandan Bal and Vece Paes would be the technical directors. Rupesh Roy, Saurabh Patil (both for advanced and elite groups) and Rajesh Jagwani (beginners group) will be the coaches of this academy with Mrinal Roy as the fitness trainer.
The academy will have tennis coaching programmes, camps, events along with some special training programmes related to the sport.
