Couple murdered over property dispute

An elderly couple was allegedly murdered over a property dispute in Moiddinpur village here in the wee hours today, police said.

Mehar(70) was shot dead and his wife Firoza Begum (65) was strangulated over a property dispute, Circle officer, Gannaur, Abhishek Yadav said.

Seven persons who absconding have been booked in connection with the case, he added.
