Three men arrested for allegedly trying to force their way into a club here, triggering chaos in the area, were today remanded to a day's police custody by a Delhi court.

Metropolitan Magistrate Gomati Manocha sent accused Kabir Sheikh, Shivam Gupta, who are in their late twenties, to police custody for custodial interrogation.

Besides Kabir and Shivam, the court also remanded accused Parth Wadia to a day's custody.

The accused were handed over to Delhi police after the investigators sought their remand to know the whereabouts of around 15-20 persons and apprehend them at their instance as they were untraceable since the incident night.

The police told the court that about eight men, including a politician's relative, accompanied by armed bodyguards had on June 27 night turned violent when bouncers denied them entry into the club Keya at the DLF Promenade mall here.

They further said they have been booked with attempt to murder and under the Arms Act. Raids are being conducted in several parts of Delhi and Haryana.

The police, while seeking their remand, informed the court that the accused had a brawl with the bouncers and they beat up one of the managers and brandished weapons.

Two of the group members - Shyam Sundar and Hardeep - are in hospital with stab wounds, it said.

Police have registered two FIRs, one against the bouncer and the other against the mischief-makers. They are analysing the CCTV footage of the mall and pub premises, the police added.
