Britney Spears excited to meet Modern Family's Ed O'Neill

Britney Spears recently met "Modern Family" star Ed O'Neill.

"Fancy running into this guy! Such a sweetheart!," she captioned a Twitter photo with the 68-year-old actor.

Wearing a peach top and platform wedges, Spears, 33, looked thoroughly enthused while O'Neill looked a little confused in khakis shorts and a black T-shirt.

Though the "Perfume" singer has made several cameos on TV,

including a spot on "How I Met Your Mother" and Will and Grace, she hasn't appeared on the hit ABC comedy.
