Two brothers today drowned in the Bhavani river in the district.
Suresh (24) and Dinesh (21) had come to Mettupalayam to attend a marriage along with their relatives from Udhagamandalam, police said.
The duo went to the river to take a bath, but got caught in the current and drowned, they said, adding the bodies have been recovered.
