A cross-country cycle rally of BSF troops, including six specially-abled men, to honour the personnel killed in the line of duty was flagged off from here today.
The bikers of the border guarding force will cycle over 1,360 kms across the states of Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra and they will end their journey on November 26 at the Gateway of India in Mumbai.
The rally was flagged off by BSF Director General K K Sharma at the India Gate here.
"The cycle rally is aimed to commemorate martyrs of the force. It will end on November 26, the same day when Mumbai faced terror attacks in 2008," a Border Security Force spokesperson said.
