Budget session of Punjab Assembly to begin on July 15

The budget session of Punjab Assembly will begin on July 15, an official spokesman said here today.

Punjab Governor Shivraj V Patil has summoned the 8th session from July 15, the spokesman said.

The Assembly had passed a vote-on account for the period till July 31 at its session in February due to the Lok Sabha polls.

The schedule of the session will be announced later, the spokesman added.
