Builder booked for cancelling flat's allotment to advocate

A private builder has been booked by police for allegedly cancelling allotment of a flat to an advocate.

Dharminder Jayant, the advocate, had moved court after the constructor allegedly denied him the apartment he had booked in June at Sector 119 after depositing Rs 1 lakh as advance payment.

He claimed that the builder had allotted him flat number 1405 at tower T1, Arnaya tower.

On July 8 he got call from the private builder informing him that his allotment had been cancelled. Asked about the reason, the builder stated they do not sell apartments to advocates. When Jayant reached the builder's office at Sector 67, he was misbehaved with.
 

On the court's order, Sector 58 police have lodged an FIR against the private builder and launched investigation into the matter.
