Cardamom futures down by 0.41% on mute demand

Cardamom prices moved down by 0.41 per cent to Rs 720.70 per kg in futures trade today as traders cut down their bets, driven by sluggish demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in May month declined by Rs 3, or 0.41 per cent to Rs 720.70 per kg in business turnover of 94 lots.
Analysts said offloading of positions by participants amid low demand in the spot market against adequate stocks position on higher supplies from producing belts mainly led to the fall in the cardamom prices at futures trade.
