)
Cardamom prices were up by 0.53% to Rs 828.20 per kg in futures trade today after traders widened positions, driven by pickup in demand at the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in July was trading higher by Rs 4.40, or 0.53% to Rs 828.20 per kg in a business turnover of 275 lots.
Market analysts said widening of positions by speculators, supported by rising demand at spot market, forced cardamom to trade higher at futures trade.
