CBI, MCI joint team inspects at medical college

A joint team of CBI and Medical Council of India (MCI) officials today conducted a surprise inspection of a private medical college to probe into alleged irregularities in the allocation of seats and anomalies in basic infrastructure facilities in the college.

A senior CBI official said that a 15-member team of CBI and MCI officials conducted the inspection of the Index Medical College here and launched a probe.

The probe is going on and further details are awaited, the official added.
