The arrested have been identified as Dr B L Roy of the force and Shiv Prasad Bhardwaj, a civilian who ran a medical shop in the city.
According to sources, CISF got a tip-off about the alleged wrongdoings in the recruitment of Sub-inspectors in the state capital and a team was sent from the force headquarters in Delhi to take the help of the CBI Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) here in nabbing the culprits.
"CBI officials in presence of CISF team apprehended a person namely Shiv Prasad Bhardwaj red handed while he was accepting Rs 8000 from a candidate for getting him through in the medical examination. During the course of investigation, it came to knowledge that Bhardwaj, owner of Bhardwaj medical store in Jaipur had connived with Dr B L Roy, Medical Officer of CISF at Jaipur.
"In presence of CISF officials, CBI raided Roy's premises and recovered Rs one lakh from his possession. Mobile call details confirmed the connivance and link between the Roy and Bhardwaj," the CISF said in a statement.
The force, which was conducting the recruitment for candidates of paramilitary forces, has also begun a detailed probe into the incident.
