Chelsea Frei has been roped in to feature in "A Moody Christmas".
The actor, best known for "Victoria Gotti: My Father's Daughter", will star in the half-hour holiday event series adaptation of the Australian series set at Fox.
Denis Leary and Elizabeth Perkins are also a part the single-camera comedy stint, which hails from CBS TV Studios, reported Deadline.
The six-episode project follows the Moody family, including Sean Sr (Leary), his wife Ann (Perkins), their three grown-up children and their extended kin who gather for the holidays.
Frei will play the middle child Bridget, an over-achiever, who is dry-witted and perceptive, even cynical.
The series has been penned by Bob Fisher, Rob Greenberg and Tad Quill.
It premiers in December.
