Civic volunteer found dead in Malda

The body of a civic volunteer of Englishbazar police station, who went missing since March 8 was found near Kalindri river at Chandipur in Malda district today, the police said.

"The body was wrapped in a bag," inspector-in-charge of Englishbazar police station, Purnendu Kundu said.

A resident of Chandipur, Rejaul Haque (25) had left his house on March 8 evening for work and did not return, he said.

Rejaul's family had filed a missing diary with the police the next day.
