Five persons have been arrested in connection with an incident of firing between two groups at Nagla Bhoora village here.
The clash took place yesterday between two groups owing allegiance to current village head Pushpendra and Sanjay, who is the candidate for the post in the upcoming election of village pradhan, police said today.
Both the groups resorted to firing and brick-batting which left 2 persons injured, they said.
Upon receiving information, police rushed to the spot and arrested five persons, police said, adding, an FIR has been filed in this connection under relevant sections of the IPC and the matter is being investigated.
