Veteran star Clint Eastwood's wife, Dina Eastwood, has filed for legal separation.
Dina's attorney C Michael McClure said that he submitted the documents to Monterey County Superior Court in Northern California on Monday, September 9 on behalf of his client.
The attorney refused to give details about Dina's situation, reported Aceshowbiz.
Reports of the split emerged in late August and at that time, Clint's manager said, "I know nothing about that. Clint is shooting a picture right now, unavailable to reach, he doesn't have a press agent and that's all I can tell you."
According to a source, the former TV news reporter and her husband split more than a year ago. They remain close although they live separately.
Dina and Clint got married in 1996 and they have one 16-year-old daughter, Morgan. Clint previously was married to Morgan Johnson for more than 30 years. They have two children. Clint also has five other children with other women.
