'Coalition raids on Syria's Raqa kill 29 civilians in 24 hrs'

US-led coalition raids on Raqa in northern Syria have killed 29 civilians over the past 24 hours as American-backed forces battle the Islamic State group, a monitor said today.

The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said 14 children were among the dead, and added that the toll could rise because of the number of critically wounded.
