Cong candidate 'attacked' in Barrackpore

Ahead of the Barrackpore Municipality polls on April 25, a Congress candidate was today attacked during campaigning at Barrackpore in North 24 Parganas district.

Subrata Banerjee, the candidate for ward No-20, was attacked by miscreants during campaigning this evening, a senior police officer said.
