Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee today lashed out at CPI(M)-Congress alliance in West Bengal, claiming both the parties will realise it was "wrong" to forge the tie-up.

"Congress will understand that it was wrong to go with CPI(M) and CPI(M) will also understand that it was wrong to go with Congress", she told an election meeting here, earlier regarded as the stronghold of the Left party.

Banerjee also said, "Congress, CPI(M) and BJP could not go near the TMC's tally of seats where elections were already held and they will get a big zero in the seats where polling will be held".

Describing TMC as "transparent" and a party of the people, she urged the people not to listen to the smear campaign against her party.

In an apparent reference to the Narada sting operation against TMC leaders, she said, "If an individual commits any wrong, party will take action".

Banerjee claimed that no other government will be able to do what the ruling dispensation in the state had done regarding development.

She said even in Arambagh which was earlier known for "CPI(M) violence", various development works had taken place.
