Cong-NCP coordination committee meet on Aug 4

The NCP will seek regular meetings of the committee to ensure smooth and effective coordination between the two coalition partners, NCP spokesman Madan Bafna told reporters here today.

Union Heavy Industries Minister Praful Patel, state Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will be members of the panel from NCP side, he said.

On if PWD Minister Chhagan Bhujbal, Home Minister R R Patil have been dropped from the committee, Bafna said, "Nobody has been dropped. It's the prerogative of Ajit Pawar to select names of ministers from the cabinet."
