Cop commits suicide in JK

A police constable today committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district.

Mohammad Aslam shot himself dead with his service rifle while on duty at the police post in Poonch District Hospital, SSP Shamsheer Hussain said.

He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.

According to initial reports, Aslam was not on good terms with his wife, the SSP said.
