Copper prices went up by Rs 4 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today on emergence of stockists' buying following uptick in demand from consuming industries.
Traders said stockists buying, driven by pick-up in demand from consuming industries at the domestic spot market mainly pushed up copper prices.
In the national capital, copper mixed scrap rose by Rs 4 to Rs 338 per kg.
