CRPF sends relief material to Nepal

The CRPF today sent relief and food material to Nepal as part of its initiative to provide succour to the quake-affected people.

A senior official said 500 blankets, three tonnes of milk powder and two tonnes of eatables were dispatched by the wives welfare association of the force as part of their social initiative activities.

Sandhya Mishra, wife of CRPF chief Prakash Mishra, flagged off the trucks carrying the items from a base of the Central Reserve Police Force here, the official said.
