For the second time in a row, DAV College, Jalandhar today bagged the Running Parliamentary Shield in the National Youth Parliament Competition for universities and colleges.
The award was distributed at a function held today in GMC Balayogi Auditorium in Parliament, a statement from Lok Sabha said.
University of Kalyani of West Bengal; Jai Prakash University of Chhapra (Bihar), Jiwaji University of Gwalior and SMB College, Udaipur were awarded merit trophies for standing first in their respective groups.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Rajiv Shukla presided over the function and distributed prizes to the students and institutions for their meritorious performance in the competition.
