Dead fish found floating in Jaldhaka river
A large number of dead fish were found floating in Jaldhaka river at Moynaguri in West Bengal's Jalpaiguri district today.
Block development officer Shreyoshi Ghosh admitted the incident and said it was possibly a case of poisoning.
Investigation into it is on, she said adding water samples have been sent to the higher authorities for testing.
