Death sentence for twin-murder

Additional District and Session Court at Mavellikara in the district today sentenced to death a 35-year old man on charges of murdering two persons in June 2006.

The Judge M R Anitha imposed death sentence on Santhoshkumar for murdering one Suresh and his relative Prasanan.

A petty quarrel over the purchase of a cigarette packet on credit from the shop run by Suresh by the accused led to the murder.
