Deer rescued from 50-foot deep well

A spotted deer, which accidentally fell into a 50-foot deep open well on the city outskirts, was today rescued, forest officials said.

The officials used a rope to bring the deer up without any injury, amid cheers from the local people.

Once it touched the ground, the frightened deer fled into some bushes, officials said.
