Depressed over wife's death, man ends life

A 47-year-old man committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his residence in Vaishali area here.

Police said that Padam Jeet took the extreme step due to depression after his wife and daughter reportedly died of cancer a few years ago.

A suicide note has been recovered, police said.
