'Desert God' wins the main event of Pune races

Country's Champion four-year-old colt Desert God trained by S Padmanabhan and ridden by jockey A Sandesh easily won The Gourmet Renaissance Indian St Ledger (Grade 1) race run over a distance of 2,800 metres, the main event on eleventh day of Pune races today.

Jockey A Sandesh and P Trevor scored a treble and double respectively on the day.
