Young diamond entrepreneur Adish Shah has been felicitated by the Mumbai Diamond Merchant Association (MDMA) for his contribution to bring digital advancements in the diamond industry.
MDMA is a leading body of prominent diamond merchants in the city.
Association president Bharat Shah felicitated Adish (22) at a program held here yesterday.
Adish had launched the first B2C and B2B portal www.Jewelemart.Com in the industry, bringing in the digitised platform for trading.
"For me this is just a beginning and this recognition belongs to entire gems and jewellery community. We from Jewelemart.Com are planning to organise free seminars for gold and diamond designers and craftsmen so that they can get trained as well as enhance their skills and will also attract other personnel to join the industry," Adish said.
