To step up the quality of patient Care services in CRHSP Ballabgarh, a community outreach centre of AIIMS, a digital X Ray facility was inaugurated by AIIMS director Dr M C Misra here today.
In Digital radiography, less radiation is used to produce an image of similar contrast to conventional radiography and also gives advantages of immediate image preview and availability.
It eliminates costly film processing steps and helps in applyingspecial image processing techniques that enhance overall display of the image, doctors said.
Comprehensive Rural Health Service Project (CRHSP) Ballabgarh has catered to nearly 2,00,000 OPD patients, conducted more than 3,000 deliveries and 2,500 surgeries till date.
CRHSP-AIIMS Hospital Ballabgarh has daily OPD in all basic departments with 50 bedded hospital run by AIIMS, New Delhi.
Apart from that, it has recently started specialist services under dermatology, orthopedics and increased the frequency of psychiatry OPD.
