Drug peddler arrested in J-K

Police have arrested a man on charges of drug peddling and seized 100 grams of cannabis from his possession in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir today, an official said.

Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted one person, identified as Nittu Sharma, in Ban Ganga area of Katra town and seized 100 grams of cannabis from his possession, he said.

A case under relevant sections of the IPC was registered against him, he added.
