Drunkard kills aged father for not giving money to buy liquor

In a case of patricide, a drunkard killed his 80-year-old father at Lakshmipuram area here for reportedly not giving him money to buy liquor.

According to police, the 40-year-old man had demanded money from his father last night to purchase liquor, which he refused. Irked, he hit the aged man hard, following which he collapsed to the floor and died.

The son was arrested today, police said.
