Delhi Soccer Association will hold an open selection trial-cum-coaching camp from December 26 here to pick the state team for the 68th Senior National (North Zone leg) Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy scheduled to be held at Jallandhar from January 10 to 20.
The selection trial-cum-coaching camp will be held at the CWG Village Sports Complex, Akshardham.
DSA-affiliated clubs may send at least four/five outstanding players for the trials.
The DSA has constituted a selection committee consisting of Sharafatullah as chairman, Rajeev Gupta as convenor and Hafiz Shahid and Dilip Ghosh as members.
Eight teams -- Punjab, Chandigarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Uttrakhand and Jammu and Kashmir -- are participating in the north zone competition. Top two teams from each zone will qualify for the final round.
