DySP among two policemen booked in bribery case

Two police officers, including a Deputy Superintendent, were today booked for allegedly accepting bribe money here, an official of the State Vigilance Organisation said.
The SVO registered a case against the Ramnagar DySp and a police constable for allegedly accepting Rs 2,20,000 from one Makhan Lal for release of his son, involved in a suicide case, the spokesman said.
A verification conducted revealed that the DySP and the constable had demanded and accepted the money, the spokesman said.
