Groundnut oil prices declined in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market today on lower demand from stockists and retailers amid good arrivals from the producing regions.
Refined palmolein also slipped further following lack of retail buying support.
Meanwhile, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial and linseed oil held steady in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil slipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 955 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 960 and Refined palmolein inched down by Re to Rs 511 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseeds oil all closed unchanged at Rs 3800 per 100kg, Rs 790 per 10kg and Rs 775 per 10 kg respectively.
