Groundnut oil and refined palmolein prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following lower demand from stockists and retailers.
While, castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial firmed up due to rising demand from shippers and soap industries.
Meanwhile, linseed oil maintained a steady trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil prices declined by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,240 from last Saturday's close Rs 1,250 and refined palmolein softened by a Re per 10 kg to Rs 625.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold climbed by Rs 40 per 100kg to Rs 3,840 from last weekends level Rs 3,800 and castoroil commercial rose by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 798 as compared Rs 790 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,080 per 10kg.
